These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Whiztools website and tools at whiztools.app (the "Service"), operated by Whiztools ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Whiztools provides a collection of free, browser-based utilities for working with images, PDFs and similar files. All processing happens locally in your browser; we do not receive, store, or have access to the files you process.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to process content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes the rights of others;
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
- Use automated means to abuse or scrape the Service in a manner that harms its operation.
3. Your files and content
You retain all rights to the files you process. Because processing occurs entirely on your device, you are solely responsible for your files and for keeping your own backups. We are unable to recover any file for you.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, including its name, logo, design, text, and software, is owned by Whiztools and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written permission.
5. Advertising and third-party services
The Service is supported by advertising (including Google AdSense) and may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. 6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in our place of operation.
