How this toolkit is organized
Whiztools groups everyday jobs into four categories so you can find the right page quickly:
- Image tools — compress to an exact size, convert HEIC/WebP/PNG/JPG, resize, crop, strip EXIF, remove backgrounds, clean soft photos, and upscale.
- PDF tools — merge, split, compress, sign, protect, watermark, convert pages to images, and extract text without sending the document to a server.
- Utility tools — QR codes, passwords, invoices, word count, units, colour helpers, and other small jobs that should stay on your device.
- Developer tools — JSON/CSV/YAML converters, Base64, hashes, JWT decode, regex, and SQL formatting for quick local inspections.

What “private by design” means here
When a tool says your file never leaves your device, the conversion or edit runs in the browser tab using local memory and (where needed) on-device models. That is different from upload-based converters that copy the file to a remote server first. You can verify many tools by loading the page, disconnecting from the network, and retrying a sample file.
