What it handles well
The retouching is at its best on small-to-medium spots sitting over relatively even surroundings — skin, sky, a wall, water, or a soft-focus background. Larger areas or busy, highly-textured backgrounds are harder to reconstruct convincingly and may need a few passes or a tighter brush.

Getting the cleanest result
Paint just a little beyond the blemish so the model has clean surrounding pixels to sample from, and keep the brush close to the size of the spot rather than covering half the image. For several separate spots, brush them all before running — the tool plans an efficient set of passes and touches up each one at full resolution where it can.

How long does a cleanup take?
Roughly 20–30 seconds per pass on a typical laptop, because the model runs on your CPU rather than on a server. One compact spot needs a single pass; several spots spread across the frame need more.
What does the quality setting change?
It caps how many passes the model may use. Balanced (up to four) suits most photos. Fast uses a single pass, so it finishes sooner but is softer on large or scattered spots. Best detail keeps each spot at full resolution and is the slowest.
