The AI Grammar Corrector reads the text you paste and rewrites it with corrected grammar, spelling, punctuation and word order. It is built for quick clean-ups of emails, messages, comments and short paragraphs where you want an extra pair of eyes before you hit send.
Everything happens locally in your browser. There is no account, no upload and no network round trip once the model is loaded, which makes it a safe choice for sensitive or personal writing.
The model behind it
Corrections are produced by Xenova/flan-t5-base, an instruction-tuned text-to-text model running through transformers.js as a text2text-generation pipeline. The model is prompted to fix the grammar and spelling of your input and returns a rewritten version.
The model is quantized and self-hosted so it can run efficiently on ordinary laptops and phones without a GPU. The first run downloads the model once and caches it for later visits.

Quality and caveats
flan-t5-base is a compact general model, not a dedicated proofreading engine, so it can occasionally reword a sentence more than you intended or miss a subtle error. Always read the output before using it.
For best results keep inputs to a sentence or a short paragraph. Because generation is capped at 256 tokens, very long passages may be truncated — split them and run each part separately.
