Resize Video
100% private — runs on your device, never uploaded. Works offline once loaded.
Get a video into the frame a platform actually wants, rather than letting the platform crop it for you. Presets cover Instagram Reels and TikTok at 1080×1920, the Instagram square and portrait sizes, YouTube at 1080p and 720p, X, LinkedIn and story formats. Three ways to fit: fill the frame and crop the overflow, which is what you almost always want for vertical social; fit the whole picture inside, which may letterbox; or pad with black to the exact frame. Runs on your own machine, so there is no upload and no watermark.
Frequently asked questions
Fill, fit or pad — which should I choose?
Fill for social video: it scales until the frame is covered and crops the overflow, so there are no black bars, at the cost of losing the edges. Fit keeps the entire picture but may leave bars. Pad does the same and bakes the bars into the file, which is occasionally what an upload spec asks for.
Will turning a landscape video vertical look bad?
Filling a 9:16 frame from a 16:9 source crops away most of the width, so anything at the sides is lost. If the subject is not centred, trim and crop first rather than relying on the automatic centre crop.
Is my video uploaded?
No — the resize happens entirely in your browser.
